One extraordinarily ordinary Tuesday
I wish I had started doing this ages ago. In any case, any year's a good enough year. Check out what I did last year here.
I normally sleep through the day then head for work before 9 or 10... whichever hour I will have started for the week. hahahaha :P
Track back to Monday afternoon. I left home a few minutes past 4. Headed to church to say a little prayer but I ended up staying longer than I've planned. I was engrossed with watching little kids' Confirmation orientation. Observing them made me realise how much I could do to help out and if I really can commit myself to volunteer somewhere. With so much going on right now, I'm not really sure if I'd be able to do it. As much as possible, I don't want to commit to something that I have to break away from later on. :( Anyway, when he told me that he was already in the area, I drove off to meet him up then headed to Greenhills to meet up with his sister. I told her I'd take her to Diver's Point (that was where I got my wetsuit) earlier. We looked around while waiting for her. I badly wanted to get myself another pair of swimwear but I didn't find any there. We had dinner at Popeye's before heading off to Wilson. The shop was almost closed when we got there, good thing the owner was gracious enough to let us in and look around. :) After that, we dropped her off in EDSA then headed for work, where I parked. hehehe We walked to Gale afterwards so I could get myself a microwavable bowl I can use with cooking the instant noodles I hoarded last Saturday. We looked around for swimsuits again but I didn't find anything nice, comfortable and affordable enough. He walked me back to my building then headed off to work himself.
Yesterday wasn't really a great week starter for me. I came in, a few minutes before 9pm, clad in black pedal pushers and a pink polo shirt paired with my favorite black thongs forgetting about the client call, and armed with the microwave safe bowl I bought myself as a birthday present, not knowing how I could sneak into my cube with the foreign clients blocking our aisle. haha... You should have seen how awkward I looked! I did manage to settle in myself but before I can even start checking inbox, Bryan, with the CCM and clients in tow, approaches my cubicle asking me if I could show them infreeda. I'm not foolish enough to show them the project which was crying for aesthical enhancements! :P I blurted that I don't have a copy of the whole thing on my machine instead. :) Anyway, he said it was all good afterwards. I didn't know that he had asked Julie for a demo earlier and that the application's already on visual source safe. Oh well. That doesn't end there. I had to consult with a developer from there again. Maybe I just don't get cultural diffrences and I misinterpreted him, but how he treated me last night was unexpected! He's normally cheerful and helpful but not this time. I felt like he was mocking me the whole time. I wish I had the transcript of our conversation here with me so I could paste it here. I have never thought that I'd ever get to work or even meet someone as mean! I ended up crying the whole night and was even determined to give up work because of him, until Knoll shook me to my senses.

I got off work at about 8am and drove off to Eastwood to fetch him and off we went to Han Pao for brunch!

I probably gained 5lbs from that huge plate of Noodle Feast, those awesome fried dumplings and spicy chicken feet. :P Of course, I didn't finish them all off myself.

We drove off to the Land Transportation Office's branch here in Dapitan St. to have my license renewed. I probably spend a good 2 hours there but I bet it would have been worst if I went to the main office. hehe

After that, we went back to GH so I could buy me some swimwear! :P

We passed by Popeye's before heading home for that quick Biscuit fix. (They ran out of biscuits the night before which left us craving earlier.)

Want some yummy biscuits? :)

I got home at around 3pm, called my dad at work, who had been constantly checking on me, to tell him that I was already home. I probably fell asleep a few minutes afterwards. I probably woke up at 8 for dinner. My mommy bought some birthday noodles, cake, grilled milkfish and porkchop, and some leche flan. I just didn't had the chance to take pictures 'cause I was too sleepy to think clearly. :P My mom asked me if I were going to work, I said I didn't know, then she suggested that I just stay home, and I did. :P But I guess my friends didn't think I'd take the night off, Knoll sent me an SMS telling me that Bryan got me a cake (nyahaha.. don't ask me why, I have no idea either, maybe he just recently thought of giving every celebrant a cake on their birthday and it just so happen that I'm the first on the list. :P) but I was already here in bed then, too lazy to even stand up. hahaha Besides, my tummy's still hurting from all the food I ate today. Anyway, that was it. 'Til next year!
